If you like your cheese with a bit extra, this family-run company has just the thing! It all started when Nick Hodgetts was sent on a cheese-making course by friends 25 years ago. Something clicked, and Nick went on to found Croome Cuisine in 2010, selling a range of flavoured cheeses and relishes.
Along with other members of his family, Nick has built an award-winning business, winning the Best Food Producer award at the Worcestershire Awards for Excellence in 2018. Many of his cheeses are multi award-winners, with several being voted people’s choice at the Royal Three Counties Cheese & Dairy Produce Competition.
The flavourings used in the cheeses tend to reflect the Worcestershire location of the company – you can find Worcestershire sauce, Worcestershire hops, local ales, honey, cider, rhubarb, Pershore plums, apples and even Christmas cake, all blended into mature cheddar cheese.
