DELICIOUS FIRST EXCLUSIVE EVENT FOR TASTE CLUB MEMBERS

We were absolutely over the moon to invite members of Warner’s Taste Club to our first exclusive event hosted by The Yorkshire Grey in Earls Croome. The Seasonal Dinner featured a 3 course set menu created by Head Chef Dean using local and seasonal ingredients available from our Upton-upon-Severn store. The meal was accompanied by wines specially selected by fine wine supplier Broadway Wine Company.

The evening also raised money for local care in the community day centre Jacks Place who support adults with learning difficulties. They are based on a working farm near Berrow, and have a multitude of animals for the clients to look after including sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, budgies and cats! The raffle raised £255 which will all go to Jacks Place.

The food was absolutely delicious, we started with chef Dean’s homemade bread with Netherend Farm butter, and the starter was a lemon & crab fritter with homemade tartare sauce and watercress. The crab and haddock were supplied by RG Seafoods who deliver fresh fish to us twice a week directly from Devon. The main course (pictured) was a braised blade of beef, creamed potato, bourguignon sauce and kale. Beef and bacon came courtesy of Martins Meats in Gretton. The amazing dessert was a blackberry & white chocolate trifle with white chocolate from Choccotastic in Ledbury. Finally, we enjoyed a coffee with fudge from Ruby’s Fudge in Worcester. Safe to say that we were all very full by the end of the meal.

Thank you so much to chef Dean and his team, and to Front of House manager Gary and his team for an excellent evening.
