Store Manager Jack Cross had a fun visit to Upton Primary School recently, where he was presenting a cheque from our Community Savings Scheme.

The Warner’s Community Savings Scheme has been running for over 15 years, with our loyal customers being at the very heart of this initiative, getting to choose who they would like us to support. Tokens are earnt for each £10 spent instore, which can then be deposited into a collection box for whichever local group or charity they most like.

Upton Primary School were raising money to buy some more outdoor play equipment for the children to play with at breaks and lunchtime. The children were very excited to see how much had bee raised!

Head teacher Julie Wills said, “We are delighted with this amount of money and will be using it to purchase some new playground equipment, including some new table tennis kit. Our thanks go to Warners and the entire community for supporting us with this fundraising, it is this community support that is so vital for us as a school.”
