OLDFIELDS CIDER

When ‘The Independent’ crowns you as one of ‘the top 10 British ciders’, you know you’re onto something special. This prestigious recognition came in 2017, sixteen years after the Thompson family planted their first cider apple orchards in the Teme Valley, Worcestershire and just four years after the first pint of Oldfields Cider was produced.

The Thompsons have been farming at Oldfields since the 1960s but cider-making wasn’t on the cards until the family joined forces with the local Hobson’s Brewery. This partnership proved to be an excellent one, with the ciders winning a range of awards from Great Taste Gold stars to celebrated Gongs in the International Cider Awards.

The ciders themselves are all made from picked and pressed Worcestershire apples. Modern techniques, such as stainless steel fermentation tanks are used to ensure consistency in quality. The manufacturing process involves complex purification to ensure that the ciders are of the highest quality. Oldfield’s Ciders are made from all-natural products with no added concentrates, just plenty of natural fruity flavour.
